While waiting for A's order in SP corner, witnessed a snatch-case whereby a working guy's handphone got snatched by a motorcyclist. Things are getting messier I supposed.Inflation Wednesday, June 04, 2008
I'm not sure how you feel, but I feel much pressured of inflation.Report Card
Interestingly, thestar has much interest in the four states which are controlled by Pakatan Rakyat. thestar is now compiling a 100-day report card for these four states. Read more here.I wonder, would thestar dare to do the same with all other states controlled by Barisan Nasional?
I wonder.

Instead of the usual harpings on mainstream newspaper (eg. Sinchew) that the current Selangor government much-talk-no-work, Terence Fernandez has a different view. Read it :)Noeyesee Wednesday, May 28, 2008
一名居民说:“连阿婆都被打,这些人没人性”,另一个说:“这样的国家令我惶恐不安,因为警察不会保护人民,还眼睁睁看着居民被打。”还有一个说:“如何为被打的居民讨回公道?”Read more here...

Toufu Cheras Friday, May 09, 2008
I loves toufu very much, but I guess Cheras folks might be a bit irritated at these toll-fulls.I have advised the police to make sure no action or what so ever to re erect the barricade, because this is a way.. a way that is.. erm... against the very wishes of the local community.FRU, water canon, all ready yesterday. Jom heboh! Not in Perak, but here in Cheras :)
And then.. err.. the police I told them, they were directed by the, according to the timbalan ketua polis daerah.. err.. "Soha". He say.. err.. police were acted.. heah... on directive from.. err.. secretary general of the home ministry, who instructed the state CPO, to instruct and direct the local CPO to assist Grand Saga in erecting the barricade. Now, the police must act in wisdom, because if they... if they do that, if they assist Grand Saga in closing the road, this will leads to a serious outcry of the local community. Now, what important role, sacred heart of the police force, is to ensure public security, and peace. The closure of the road will definately leads to... high emotion.. or may possibly leads to commotion. Now, this is something that shouldn't have happened. So the police must act in wisdom, should advice Grand Saga not to proceed the erection, and a meeting to resolve the matter between the.. the federal government.. represented by.. err.. work ministry and highway authority and the selangor state government should be held.. discussion should be held between them to resolves the problem amicably in the interest of the people.
The state government has already.. err.. announced and maintained that.. err.. the road the land, where barricade is sighted is belongs to the state government.
All parties including Grand Saga or the police or the highway authority should respect such opposition. They can seek clarification from the state government but not to proceed drastic action like what they intend to do now. - Tan Kok Wai, Cheras MP.
Enough of jokes, really... Who's the boss actually?? I'm much irritated by watching the last part of the video clips. How do you feel if the security guard you hired chase you away from your own land? Heck.
It's time? (2) Thursday, April 24, 2008
It's thursday. I'm still digging hard in my head for ideas. Tomorrow till Sunday will be a hectic weekend. Got to mark exam scripts despite of my viva voce on Monday. Let's see I'll survive.. or not? :)I'll survive....... I'll survive (the song :))
I believe Kah Choon needs this song as much as me.... and of course, congratulations to Makkal Osai. They are officially back in business.
Three more days to go...
to pig or not to pig? Friday, April 11, 2008
Pig has been a big issue for the start of a new era. In this case, maybe we should thank God that the year of Pig has passed and no Chinese will say anyone who protest against the modern pig farming project is being seditious against racial harmony (hence against the constitution, rukun negara, bla bla bla).Anyway.. just some sarcasm in the previous paragraph. I just wonder, if being implemented in a proper way (including aspect of management, in views of benefits and resolves current problems), why make such a fuss out of it?
Don't forget:
1. This project bukan satu project Kerajaan Barisan Nasional. Rakyat will make sure every single cent is being utilize for a right cause (and not for somebody's BIG pocket).
2. Relocation of open pig farms reduces environmental issues. Don't you get it?
3. This technology sure reduce environmental issue? Refer to number 1.
4. Alternative food? You're just as naive as asking others to eat other food which they chose not to eat.
Apparently, nowadays "demonstrations" is no longer a peculiar incident, but part and parcel of Malaysian lifestyle.
Unlike someone says... "Ini bukan cara orang Malaysia ni...."
Aya... why makes things so complicating???
Can Malaysians talk sanely?
Post Tidal (1): who's right, who's wrong? Thursday, March 13, 2008
Of all the gung-ho of Perak MB....theStar said "Questions over MB post as state leaders defy Kit Siang".
KUALA LUMPUR: The saga of who will head the coalition government in Perak has taken a dramatic turn, with DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang ordering his party assemblyman to stay away from the swearing-in of the Mentri Besar – and they have chosen to defy him.Wow... very daring DAP state leaders uh...
Let see what NST says,
11.42am: The DAP apologises for its statement yesterday that the party’s CEC protested the appointment of Perak Pas secretary Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin as Menteri BesarWait a minute... Hmm.... someone defy instruction... or... defy the word "chronology"?
2.16pm: Perak DAP chairman Ngeh Koo Ham announces that representatives from all political parties in the Perak coalition government will attend Nizar’s swearing-in
I smell something fishy... do you?
Want to know more? Malaysiakini seems to have some spicy insider's news.
1. PKR threatens to pull out of Perak state admin
2. Perak MB's swearing-in put off
Btw, The Malaysian Insider has a delightful insight too.

I still remember there's one minister who "advice" Malaysian citizens that it's time for us to change our lifestyle, and stop whining about country's inflation. Youth for Change has a satire view.March 8 (6): a response Thursday, February 28, 2008
A dear blog reader requested for a "personal topic", here I am posting one - specially for you (to who ever you are, as you remain anonymous ;) )It's been a privilege to start reading again. Ever since I started working I find it hard to concentrate in reading. Among the few books (and magazines) that I read since Chinese New Year, I was ticked by one article titled "The Trouble with Malaysians" by Brian Yap in January's issue of "Off The Edge", which leads me to this interesting book titled - "New Malaysian Essays 1".

A note, Brian Yap did a fantastic job in summarizing Malaysia, in a very witty context :)
Cheers.
You can grab this book from some bookstores near you. I saw some in Kinokuniya, Suria KLCC (in the NEW BOOKS section). Too bad Popular bookstore near my house didn't carry this title :)
I supposed, hiccups did not hinder them from publishing this book :)
March 8 (5): Rempit Sempit Wednesday, February 27, 2008
Badawi said he's "realistic and responsible".A news report from NST talks about Mat rempit assaulted a manager, while Oriental Daily (will try to scan when i'm free) mentioned about Mat rempit from a political party, with the party name withheld for some reason.
You want to know which party? Malaysiakini has the answer.
Security, Peace, and Prosperity... burger you meant?
