If you follow Jeff Ooi's blog, you will noticed of an entry titled Google failure.

Instead of using the search keyword "Failure", you can try "French Military Victories" instead. Courtesy of a french colleague of mine... not mine.. my brother's :)

[edit:]
After I posted this entry, I realised a blogger name suanie actually did mentioned about this is Jeff's comment... well... not a new piece of news then. haha..

ProJet Destina will be replaced by 7-Eleven

I just received an email from ProJet, stating that they are in the process of transfering all Destina stores to 7-Eleven. This means, you will have 7-Eleven in every single ProJet station.

Personally, I think this is a cool idea, and hopefully they will keep the attractive pricing for food in all ProJet 7-Eleven stores :)

Dear Refresh card member,

We are pleased to announce an exciting new chapter in ProJET's history. Our Destina stores are in the process of entering into an exciting alliance with 7-Eleven and soon all Destina stores nationwide will be replaced with 7-Eleven outlets.

In conjunction with this new transition, we are pleased to bring you a special Refresh promotion*. For **every purchase of RM30 in a single receipt, you can get a 600ml bottle of water for only 10 sen! And to top it off, 7-Eleven will also be bringing you a fantastic offer during this time. Find out more at the stores.

At the end of this promotion, the Refresh card will no longer be valid as the program will be discontinued. We thank you for your continuous support as we explore innovative and exciting programs for you in the future.

In the meantime, be on the lookout for fantastic deals that will be coming your way in all the new 7-Eleven stores at ProJET stations nationwide!

Thank you.

Chronicles of Narnia

Here's some articles on the movie - Chronicles of Narnia - The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe.

1. TIME.com - How to Tell if The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is a Christian Film

2. Andrew Adamson's Narnia

I did not read much of the content of both articles mentioned above, but it should give us some insight of how people look at this film.

Hate Mail Thursday, October 13, 2005

After a long journey of trying to decode the errors, I finally solved the mystery.

Nevertheless, if I were given a choice to write a hate mail, these would be two person I would sent to.

1. Sun Microsystem

I've no idea why Axis 1.2 doesn't run well with JRE 1.5

2. LevelOne

I've no idea why you make life so difficult with uncompliant UPnP description file.

Will update more :P

Just want to tell you guys, the project is progressing, well - finally ;)

The Craze Continues..

After learning many new terms like AF Illuminator, Manual Focus Ring, etc.. I realised those mambo-jumbo telephoto lens and wide angle lens will cost a fortune (not really la.. just that for me it is). Thus alternate option should come in, and here's the verdict after checking through Canon S2 IS, Konica Minolta Z5, Panasonic FZ5, FZ20, FZ30... and the winner is.... *drum rolls*

1. Panasonic FZ20 (RM2k)

2. Panasonic FZ30 (unknown price)

So.. what's the major difference between both? FZ30 has a non-extending lens, thus increase startup speed... Clearer LCD... Most interesting of all, FZ30 has manual focus and zoom ring. Yup... just like those SLR monster.

So.. Time to keep money :P

DSLR Fever Friday, October 07, 2005

Out of the blue, I checked out the price for Nikon 50D kit in PhotoMalaysia... Guess what? It's just RM2880!!

Well... I know some of you will say... Wah... so expensive... but for a DSLR, Nikon... It's superliciously cheap.

I wish I could bring this in to Taman Negara end of this month... but... dream lah! haha....
